.ASSO      association for the development               of the University of Fashion The association is situated at the Museum of Tissue (textiles) of Lyon's Chamber of Commerce located on the premises of the Lyon and Region Textile Centre. Its’ objective is to promote the activities of the University of Fashion. The association aims to initiate and federate various projects in order to promote, at regional, national and international level, the image of Lyon as a fashion center. Members of the association benefit from ;        A documentation and resource center comprising more than 400 specialised works, magazines, research theses, slides, video cassettes and professional listings.   Regular conferences.   Visits to exhibitions in Lyon and its region, as well as Paris or Marseilles.   Meetings, study days and symposiums ( e.g. " Interviews on Fashion ")   Participation in events such as the Fashion Book Award, film screenings, fashion parades, competitions and class sponsorship.   A regular news-letter : " Question of Fashion " Members of the Association for the University of Fashion, be they individuals, companies, organisations or associations, not only take part in the afore-mentioned activities and events, they also contribute to the evolution of Lyon and its industrial and creative sectors.
